Xstract's team of mine engineering consultants have capabilities in open cut and underground coal, precious metals and base metals mining. We have worldwide experience with conceptual, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, short and long term coal mine planning and scheduling, underground thin vein mining and hard rock mining using software such as XPAC, Vulcan, Surpac, Datamine and Whittle. Managing Director – Mark Noppe
Xstract's associate mineral processing team provides experience across the mineral chain from beneficiation to extraction and transformation for Mineral Sands, Iron, Copper, Nickel, Lead, Tin, Zinc, Tungsten, and Gold extraction. They have consulting specialisations in mineral beneficiation, hydro and pyro-metallurgical treatment, flow-sheet design, optimisation and development of processes, the analysis, development and management of projects along with commissioning process plants in complex and foreign environments. We are planning to complement this associate team with in-house consultants very shortly.

Managing Director – Mark Noppe
Xstract's associate team of environmental scientists have expertise in surface and ground water, air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, waste management and site remediation, allowing us to provide consulting in the areas of compliance reporting including Environmental Impact Assessments and Management Plans, environmental audit, assessment and monitoring along with strategy and planning. We are planning to complement this associate team with in-house consultants in the near future.
